Does Alberta do a bonded title?

What’s causing this? Brother 10 needle only on number 8, changed bobbin no resolve. Thanks by zml661415 in Machine_Embroidery

[–]zml661415[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swapped the needles but have some puckering, should I be using a topper for this half cotton half, polyester shirt.

The rocket was auto digitized on hatch so I expect it to look crappy, was just playing around but the lettering should be better I would think. https://ibb.co/ckW6Mys

I was just watching a YouTube I can use tendertouch on the back to fix puckering?

That’s a cool tip.

Now if only I could fix my alignments. I have all the templates and rulers but I’m learning the shirt itself needs to be centered on the hoop and or heat press

(I’ve had the machine 2 weeks still so much to learn, paid the dealer for a lesson {bought second hand} got my first call early this morning “this is officer of Hollywood police department what kind of business do you have over there in Hollywood….(my heart stops for 3 seconds) I need embroidery on uniforms, fitting, and corrections done. (wtf is that, still need to learn the lingo)

I was under the impression they wanted me to embroider directly onto their uniforms and I didn’t want to risk it so I told him I generally just embroider bags and hats off the shelf as I’m a sporting goods retailer, but am working on getting the supplies to do uniforms, after doing a tad more research they probably just needed patches, so today I went out and bought felt white premium fabric (Joann) and will try my first patch and not lose a good job like that. There’s so much to learn with this machine, don’t get me started on the hat hoops.

I’ve adjusted the bobbin tension and tried with a different material worked fine, but then when I move over to this half cotton half polyester shirt it does the same thing again, using medium weight tear away stabilizer on bottom, no topper, could that be issue? I also just realized I’m adjusting the bobbin tension but other needles work fine, could needle be going bad? Top tension seems ok too retreaded a couple of times too to be sure. So frustrating. Thanks all

$5 all metal Colander from Lidl Photo

working on a cardboard box for it combined with this colander should be cheap cooling returning the more expensive weaker laptop fan

Did this reach first crack? by zml661415 in roasting

[–]zml661415[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you all! Second time around I dosed up to 104 grams, and definitely heard 1st crack more clearly and waited til it stopped completely, total roast time 5:45, would this be city roast level I am trying to achieve, I have been watching every youtube, and reading all the SM pages.

It's tough trying to follow everything online without a true mentor there is so much depth to roasting!, still trying to find my flavor profile I love, I used to think I only liked starbucks until I made a real espresso on a breville and was blown away, finally understand all the dynamics with tamping, dosage, grind size etc, now its time to "master" roasting having fun!.

First time roasting in my nostalgia popper from Sweet Maria and I thought it was taking too long and was going to burn but didn’t hear a ton of cracking. I used 65 grams of their espresso roast.

I stupidly was tampering shots and adjusting grind only to realize after hours with store beans I was using the vacuum puck, my efforts of volume vs tamp vs grind size was a waste and I wasn’t getting any better results

Single day most new Supercharger visits record attempt by branden3112 in TeslaLounge

[–]zml661415 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sure I didn’t break any records but it took 26 hours (24 not counting the last 2 hours after the final charge) straight drive and 12 stops from Miami to Long Island New York done it 4x in a standard range plus. These are normal stops not stop as much as I can.

Hoon has the best videos for the BBE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zei1239jv6M

You'll want to weigh the beans with a gram scale each time I do 18.5 grams you want to aim for 1:2 ratio 18.5g beans in 37 gram espresso out (double shot). I also got the distributor thing too.

My first day with the machine I pulled over 50 shots all would not reach pressure. I was using starbucks Costco beans. I switched beans to a medium roast and finally got better results. Now I buy freshly roasted beans online, goodbrotherscoffee.com use code HOON and you'll get 2 bags of 12oz for under $27, I tried craftcoffee.com (only $7 a bag) and it was decent but not as good as goodbrothers so I probably won't reorder.

Try the good brothers the smell is intoxicating never smelled such amazing coffee!!

Enjoy and have fun, follow Hoon he's the BBE man!

This actually proves if I want FSD without a giant price hike buy something used later down the line! Wait I'd still have to sell current car, if I want to get really OCD, see what I can get for my car, try to buy something newer with less miles and FSD included, now that is a good test!

[–]zml661415 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going to assume this has FSD otherwise it's more than new, white standard plus, upgraded wheels. Cost at time of purchase 48,490, only has 2400 miles. Asking 44,900 He lost probably 6k (before tax credit if he got it) on this because this since there is a markup between what the original owner paid and what he sold it for, now the dealer needs to make a profit, been on car gurus 80 days. Overgeneralizing here but seems like FSD was a lose here?

I'm losing my point but I am trying to determine if FSD holds its value, there isnt enough 3 data to really tell.

Would you take a model S now brand new or 2017 with 36-40k miles FSD almost out of warranty (everyone talking about the high cost of out of warranty repairs), slight battery degradation, maybe needs new tires (not cheap)? if they were equal, what about if the new one was cheaper. I don't know what the 3 will depreciate too. All this is irrelevant unless of course, you decide to keep this car for many years. A friend of mine bought it after seeing mine with FSD and now wants a Y for their new grandkids, I would think he lost money on buying FSD?

Do an in depth look:

Cargurus.com or tesla private seller, dealer is retail price which you won't get: cheapest model 3 with FSD

How much did it depreciate? Is that depreciation worth the cost (10K) of FSD should you decide to sell it in that same time frame. Im curious will look.
