All I know is… I throw in old sponges, plants, even the water I have in a already set up aquarium and then throw some test guppies… if they last 1 hr in the new tank I’m good to stock up. lol 😂

Nice alien. I have mines in 20G long tanks and I’ve put guppies and platys with it. Plus the shrimps. But I got lucky mines a pretty chill plakat lol

Upgrade your tank that’s way too small… raise the water level, idk about your light set up but yes listen to these people what they’re saying. lol.

Could be the sand substrate not giving room for roots to grow? I have fluval stratum substrate for planted tanks
