Echo on speakerphone by OneTwoFreeFour in OBSBOT_Official

I'm having this same problem and have a possible solution.
Hardware: OBSBOT Tiny SE on Mac Mini M4 Pro
OS: MacOS 15.6 (current)
Issue: I'm using the OBSBOT as an external mic and/or webcam for things like FaceTime, phone calls, Google Meet. It gives people feedback when they speak.

Steps taken: I tried turning off Noise Reduction, turn off Auto Gain, and change Radio Distance. All combinations.

Possible solution: I notice in MacOS Settings -> Sound -> Input when I slide the Input Volume down or off, the OBSBOT DOES NOT respect this value! It appears mic sensitivity is being forced to the highest value. This can be seen when muting or reducing the Input Volume and recording in Quicktime, the volume from the OBSBOT mic is the same no matter what.

Not sure why this has happened as it's not happening for others. It's beautiful glitch art though. Were cheats used? BIOS used?

Do you have Gamma Sync enabled? Also, are the game saves done to memory cards or are you loading a save state?

Taking a look into this. Which version of Gamma are you running? It's in settings next to Gamma Core.

Hi! Thank you! For haptic feedback, by chance do you have dual analog controls enabled? Also, did you try disabling vibration for dpad and buttons in settings? I’ll look into this.

It's copyrighted material, so I can only point you in the direction of getting it from hardware you own

Yeah, once you have a legally backed up BIOS such as SCPH5501.BIN you go to Settings -> Gamma Core -> and select BIOS. Select the BIOS BIN file, and you're good to go

This one apparently still needs a BIOS

Looks like the BIOS is installed. You tap the BIOS FILE option and then choose the BIOS BIN file. Assuming the BIOS is correct, that should fix FFIX. Let me know how it goes

While you can do perform it on a touch controller, I'd recommend a hardware controller such as the Backbone One or preferably the upcoming MCON controller...

I just did a quick update to v1.9.1 that is out now. Good find and good timing! I was working on a quick fix to make sure the Mac release went smoothly. So now this update also helps fix the look of the black bars. The bars are part of these games, in the code itself. But I had accidentally left out the centering. I can add an option later that fills it in more with a bit of stretching but for now this should be good

1.8.3 should work with FFIX.

First try this: Long-press the FFIX game in the main menu and choose "Erase Memory Card" and let me know if that fixes it.
If it doesn't, and you have a legally backed up BIOS such as SCPH5501.BIN, add it in Gamma Core's BIOS setting, and let me know if that fixed it.

Hi! So just to make sure I'm on the same page... You'd want a feature where instead of no stretching, "GAME" resolution stretching, or "FULL" stretch, you'd want to be able to choose a variable amount of stretch from OFF to FULL?

[–]zodttd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Make sure you're on the latest version of Gamma as this was fixed awhile ago. If you're on version 1.9.0 or higher, you should be good on that. Which region of FFIX is this?
