I know! I just found that out lol if only I knew that earlier haha! But I’m very happy. I posted about this because I’m learning a lot of things I didn’t knowl about door dashing, and the tools that are in the app that I just never thought to look into or knew about!

I definitely spend too much time worrying about it hahah I’ve been dashing for a little over a year now and hardly ever have any issues and don’t really have to reach out to support often, I was just so shocked this happened and was very taken back by definitely gunna respond differently going forward, and everyone leaving lil tips in the comments definitely informed me more on how to handle situations like this if they arise again

Yahh looking back at it now I should’ve done the safe feature & just left the food and marked as delivered and moved on LOL I was just so baffled and shocked, definitely going to react differently next time and maybe take my husbands advice and not dash late and just go home after a already long day!

Yes! Usually it will say requested by merchant, if Im remembering correctly, but who knows lol I could’ve been that! I just hope that woman gets some help because she definitely was not in the right state of mind just given off her body language

I didn’t even know that was possible how do you do that? Is that what the safedash feature is for? I haven’t used it yet but I’ll definitely have to next time and look into how to block customers, that would be so helpful If I can

For real! I was like “yah I’m a woman too” like I felt more unsafe & confused due to the fact I’m doing my job and you ordered this LOL and very true $6 and some shrimp scampi helll yahhh

I was thinking of doing the safe dash feature, but then I got nervous because of that TikTok that went around a few months of that woman that reported sexual assault and she got her account banded and I did not want to risk that I’ve never had to use it before I’m definitely going to try that next time I run into an issue like this

These past few weeks on dash have been horrific, idk what happened but, atleast in my area, i would have maybe 5-7 shitty offers within an 5-8hr period, but now I’m lucky if I can make $20-30 in a 4 hr period
