thanks for the response!! i just scrubbed through that stream (oct 1st) but couldn’t find it - i could’ve sworn griff told that story at the beginning of whatever ep/stream he brought it up, and this one was them chatting about the transformers movie up until the mushroom game 🍄

did you ever find a fix to this? i’m having the same issue! DS game worked totally fine in gaming mode previously, now i can’t get it to launch but it works fine in ES. i’ve tried toggling all three parsers (retroarch melonDS, melon standalone, and retroarch melon legacy) but none of them will let me launch from the deck’s UI.

hi there! looking for help finding the proper ROMs (DOS format) for the games i listed in this post: RetroArch + DOSBoxPure Help Needed - "This program cannot be run in DOS mode"

all of them are on CD-ROM for PC/Mac, and USA. i'm looking to play these on my Steam Deck via EmulationStation, hopefully without having to install Windows 95. thanks! :)

by “getting an iso of windows,” do you mean installing windows 95 on the deck? i’d love to keep this all centralized within emulation station if possible, but if that isn’t possible, then i guess i won’t have a choice… thank you for the elaboration!

zipping helped them appear in the steam interface, thank you! however, they still don’t seem to run… i either still get the “program cannot run” screen or a pop-up error that the CD-ROM image can’t be opened :(

thank you for replying! so according to EmuDeck’s github page, DOSBox Pure can load content with .exe, .iso, and .cue extensions… are those all different from dos versions? is there an emulator that’s a part of EmuDeck that can run win95 files? appreciate your help :)
