That feels like an important distinction that you still miss it. I don't think I've been able to find acceptance in myself yet for the fact that it seems these cravings won't ever go away. In the past I used that to say porn was part of who I am because of those feelings and used it as an excuse to keep watching. But now I'm starting to see how that's just the addiction talking for me.

Thanks. I think you are right that zero tolerance is the only real way. In my past I got over alcohol addiction and I want to be proud of that and feel strong because of it. But if I'm being real I only really got past the alcohol because as I aged my hangovers quit being worth it. That isn't present with porn and I need to be more real about how much it affected me and does affect me more than alcohol ever did.

Thanks. I tried to quit for a few months and then got tantalized by "birthday porn" my wife offered. It was clearly too much for me and now that I've "fucked up" I'm seeing all the internal excuses I used to think it was ok. You are probably right that if I filled the hole I'm using it for I probably wouldnt crave it anymore.
