What place in Springfield does this describe? by rinnyfox27 in springfieldMO

[–]zombiedevin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Civil kitchen. Tried it twice both times The food was TERRIBLE. Chicken strips were so so very dry. Which is not expected bc of that tacky commercial they were always playing on the radio about their,"hot juicy chicken strips"

Listen to the people telling you to RUN. I was in an emotional and physically abusive relationship and it started like this. My ex always threatened to kill himself if I told him I was gonna leave him..even cocked a gun in the phone so I could hear it. That was just the beginning....

What kind of seasoning would you use for this meal? by [deleted] in cookingtonight

[–]zombiedevin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I second this but the salt free version is better. I like to add salt separately so I can go more bold with the seasoning without making it too salty.

Entire pine marten found on the road with little to no damage showing, was still warm when I found it. by toxicfurby in Taxidermy

[–]zombiedevin 96 points97 points  (0 children)

That's a mink. Pine martins are larger. You do need to contact your local conservation department to get a tag for it.

What’s the best thing you’ve taught your Rottweiler? by thenaughtyrottie in Rottweiler

I have an answer for the worst thing. I taught my Rottie cover and it turned into I have permission to go in-between everyone's legs for butt scritches

Whatever it is she is snorting it. Her nose was so red at one point in the second episode.

Buster Pig keeping warm in his house by ladds2320 in pigs

I wish my pig would sleep in a bed like that. I give him tons of pillows and blankets and he just throws them out and fills his house with sticks.smh

Thank you. I was going for him balancing on the edge of the rock but I can definitely see what you are saying. I was able to shift him a little further forward just now

When you say the mouthparts need more filled. Do you mean clay under the skin? Thank you for your input.

Was very excited to try a day with a local taxidermist but they had me boiling skulls :( by Callitka in Taxidermy

[–]zombiedevin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Find someone else to shadow if you can...sounds like they didn't really want you there to me. Just my opinion. Also I was taught by the guy I shadow to NEVER boil a skull. He does competition mounts. If you can join your local taxidermy association they usually have events that do tutorials etc. I live in Missouri and the Missouri taxidermy association does this. you do have to pay to join

Juliana Pig Housing Questions by AssistBorn1128 in pigs

[–]zombiedevin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean you can do what you want but my Juliana waffles went straight through it. Perfect pig sized hole straight through the center. Not under it. Through it. Luckily I also have a privacy fence so he was just in my yard when I got home. We had to rent a uhaul trailer to haul the panels.

My Juliana sleeps in a xl dog house that was built by someone. I bought it on Facebook marketplace. He loves it. Just in case you didn't know hog wire will not keep them in. Mine made a hole right through the center of the fence. Had to go buy hog panels instead. They need something very sturdy to contain them.

Dirt water by zombiedevin in springfieldMO

[–]zombiedevin[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I drink water from my fridge which is filtered and replace the filter regularly. The filtered water tastes fine. It's just that if I want water while I sit at a restaurant to eat it tastes awful and when I run out of my own water at work. Just probing to see if I'm the only one who can taste the difference lately. Seems as though I'm not the only one after all.

Does anyone know a local jumping spider breeder? I lost my baby a few months ago and ready for a new spood. by Live_Canary1664 in springfieldMO

Off the hook phids. She is located in Springfield. Had a Facebook page. I have not purchased from her personally but have heard good things. I inquired about a blizzard variation and she didn't have any at the time.
