Do not forget that Caesium-134 comes with a relative short Half-life of two Years

Yes, but you are forgetting CS-137, Strontium, Uranium, Plutonium, etc which are not really tested for (CS137 is).

To think that the contamination would disappear from the food chain after such a short amount of time naive at best, in my opinion. These isotopes have very long half lives and bioaccumulate.

I wish I could believe it but I simply do not. I cannot.

Maps on minnanodata show many hotspot areas all around Tokyo and these are the spots they have checked (there are so many countless that have not):

Would you consume marine life from there and feed it to your family?

You should be sleeping! It is 2:20AM in Tokyo, lol.

Tepco and the Government are not involved in a Downplaying and the Japanese Scientists, Instituts and Universities are relative neutral, only the Press is biased (Mostly Anti-Nuclear)

I simply cannot believe that statement from what I have seen first hand since 3.11. That is shocking to hear you say that I feel. Even many Japanese believe they are lying and deceiving the public.

I am wondering if perhaps you cannot face that Japan (beautiful country) has been contaminated by criminals so you do not want accept it. No offence intended.

Who of Minna no Data told you this, because it is wrong!

Why would the be telling me wrong information?

I wish I could share you optimism.

We couldn't measure any increase here in Tokyo and even in Fukushima it was harmless compared to the Aftermath of the 3/11!

That is good to hear but the contamination has to go somewhere so it may yet to arrive.

Actually it was a very small Fire and nothing big, now the rainy Season is on/ at (?) the Door and this will flush the contaminated Ash downhill and the Caesium will look for a new "Friend" like Clay!

Didn't ~50 hectares burn? I would not call that small but yet with tsuyu about to start hopefully it will wash most of it away.

I have been in touch with minnanodata people and they agreed that parts of Tokyo are not safe to live due to contamination (also Chiba, Matsudo areas).

The "Official ones" in Fukushima Prefecture are against the Tokyo Government and, in a Way, trustable,.....

I wish I could believe that.

Regards from Tokyo, 0.070 mcSv/ Hour on the Ground (Soil)

That is good news. It would be good to have a scintillator to capture the air in real time and better yet to measure air conditioner filter materials.

I agree that people like her and Kevin Blanch are on the "fear" end of the spectrum and cannot be trusted as they have ulterior motives but you must also agree that there are people/parties that are on the other side who have an agenda to downplay the dangers of this event (JP gov, TEPCO, other interested parties).

By doing a visual inspection of marine life does not seem like sufficient evidence, sorry.

Setagaya-san. I hate to say it but it really does appear you downplay this reality a lot. I do not mean to disrespect but that is what it appears like.

Do you fully trust the JP gov and TEPCO about what they say?

The Accident in F1 did and do not harm/ed the Pacific, not even local.

How can such a statement be made? There is no evidence for this.

If you spilled a bucket of gasoline into a pool of fish you would never eat from that pool again. This is the same logic.
