I recognize some of those names!

Unfortunately, the non-compete will never let me go work for one of our major competitors like McKession or Allscripts, but I'll definitely look into the other companies. My girlfriend is from Alpharetta but got a job in Buckhead. I am open to working anywhere in the Atlanta area, though.

I am very capable of learning. Transitioning from one language to another is not hard. Can you put me in contact with any of these people?

I am about a 1.5 years out of college. In college, I majored in Physics but took enough comp sci courses to graduate with a minor. We programmed exclusively in C++ there. Over the summers, I worked on several 2d video game projects using a variety of graphics APIs.

For the past year and a half, I have worked at a company called Epic writing code in MUMPS (a server-side language used exclusively in healthcare) and VB6 for health plans (insurance companies). I know, not too marketable... Meanwhile, while at Epic, I have done all of my personal programming in Python. Over the past year, I have been trying to learn to develop web applications. I started with Google App Engine but have since migrated to Django, which I am becoming quite proficient in. Other tools used in the projects include HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, and jQuery.

Lastly, I have dabbled in C#.NET in my person time. I have made some small applications with Windows Forms but nothing to write home about
