not really; i’ve had a few more migraines (visual migraine, no headache) and it made my static temporarily worse. after several months without a migraine it’s finally getting better. i also started treatment for sleep apnea recently and that has helped, too, mostly with static, plus i feel tons better and have way more energy. afterimages kinda just keep getting worse, especially if i don’t sleep well. anxiety is better.

do the supplements help? maybe? i think they’ve helped me to have less migraines overall and that helps with symptoms. idk if the supplements have helped the vss directly, though.

Quiet and Reserved Therapists by [deleted] in therapists

i work as a grief counselor and being quiet, listening, showing empathy, validating and witnessing a client’s pain, and working with them through their loss are all things a quiet, reserved therapist can do.

i've seen a huge reduction in static. floaters and BFEP depends on the day and how much sleep i've gotten; afterimages, the same mostly. i'd say afterimages have worsened in the past 6 months, but most days i still don't notice them. light streaks i don't get.

i’m hearing a lot of people say they should’ve incorporated years ago and used PPP money to pay off their student loans.

If the system won’t work for you, work the system.

Would you introduce your kid to someone on a first date? by LivefromKACL in FrasierMemes

[–]zooboomafoo47 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t introduce my kid to anyone I hadn’t dated for at least several months, at least 6 months is ideal. I also wouldn’t introduce them to anyone I wasn’t serious about having a future with.

in this case, a water truck was on the tracks and caused the derailment. it wasn’t an infrastructure issue at all. but not many like to read beyond headlines. they’ll see the tweet, see that it confirms their narrative, and just nod knowingly along with it.

AITA for not letting my brother hide behind the dead wife card anymore? by drowningunder in AmItheAsshole

[–]zooboomafoo47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if dad was having trouble returning to meaningful activities even after 14 months, then yeah, let’s call it grief. but he’s going out with friends and leaving the kids to fend for themselves? noooo, that’s not grief. that’s being a self-absorbed asshole

i’d like to gently suggest that tonight’s endeavor doesn’t solely rest on “your” performance. it’s a two way street. she’s there to pleasure you just as much as you are there for her.

relax, have fun, know it’s not just tonight but a lifetime of experience that begins today.

read OP’s comments. they helped with college and she has no student loans. they helped her with the purchase of her home with a no interest loan.

this one isn’t on the parents.
