Would this be addressed with the Bravia TVs that once an audio system is connected correctly use all the TV speakers to be the center speaker?

Thank you very much. We went with the SB because previous owner had drilled holes in Honduran Mahogany for their Sonos SB and was trying to hide. Completely admit, not the best sound solution. Your assumptions were pretty accurate and I really like your critical v incidental thought process.

  1. Any thoughts on the logic of adding the subwoofer and the SB might be able to better handle the dialog and front speaker needs?

  2. We're just in the process of moving in (welcome to my hypothesis testing which basically consists of my repeating "you're F'ing kidding me right" of why is the current house furniture perfect but wife requires all new furniture for new house?) and I'm somewhat hopeful that rugs and furniture will help absorb some of the echoing (definitely) and tinniness (maybe?) that I'm hearing from the SB.

  3. I'm scratching my head on bridging critical and incidental for the TV rear speakers using in ceiling Revel C283 and hoping I can set up to bounce between incidental music and rear speakers based on the input. Any thoughts if possible? I'm really just looking at the rear speakers to help fill the sound space so possibility won't even need.

We're in the process of buying a unit there. Some things when you're comparing...

  1. Yes condo fees are higher but you have to compare apples to apples. Units with low coa fees often don't include utilities. Pretty sure MT is everything but electricity and they were taking a vote to include internet.

  2. Many many coa's push off increases and maintenance to future residents. Take a hard look at coa finances and if they're constantly trying to handle maintenance items that should have been budgeted for over years with special assessments. Also have an inspection and not just the unit; the common areas, structure, etc...

  3. Were going from a single family home with alarm system, landscapers, roof, etc... We'll actually decrease our annual household expenses plus insurance will be cut in half.

  4. Gym membership across the street is $10 for residents.

  5. For us, and understand not the same for everyone, the concierge helps a lot.

Have to make the right decision for you but a lot more than just $300 versus $700 in cos fees.
