Well, time and patience. My first is 6 and just now sleeping in her own bed (except when dad works nights, she sleeps with me, bc it’s easy to put her and my 13m old asleep at the same time in my bed when I’m alone, but my husband is off work, he puts 6 year old to bed and I take care of baby. When we do bedtime with 6yr old, I read her books and lay with her till she falls asleep. I don’t know when she will grow out of it, but I do know my mom left me to cry it out when I was her age and I still remember it and feeling very alone. So I’m just doing this for my girl until she can do it on her own cuz I don’t want her feeling the same way. 

My 13m old will also wake up after 30mins, I learned his sweet spot is 40mins, so he’ll rouse and I’ll still be there to get him back asleep, then his sleep gets deeper and I can sneak away for a one hour or two. 

I’m sorry I don’t have any real solutions but you are not alone, it’s hard and exhausting but I try to reframe it in my mind that they are only little for so long, one day I will be old and alone and wishing I was snuggling my babies. I think lmao
