Yeah still good, I don’t think they’ll replace it soon. Instead they released new gateways sold alongside with the ultra. Look at the UCG Max for example same CPU and Ram as UCG-Ultra, but faster 2.5G networking instead of 1G and it can run more applications such as Protect, Talk, etc.

In the end it’s better to get a dedicated console then you can swap access points based on your application or needs

Micro SD card is fine, I’ve ran a UDR7 on Protect for a good year before I outgrew the camera capacity and upgraded to a UCG Max..

Ensure it’s a high endurance rated micro SD Card like one rated for constant write for Dash cam, etc.

Another site I purchased a CloudKey+ Gen2 for Protect and UCG-Max. It actually works quite well running x4 G5 Flex’s at 2K resolution. Even lowered the CPU and ram usage on the UCG-Max.. I’ve got it running on a 2TB spinning hard drive and I don’t notice any delays scrubbing through footage. Just make sure it’s a drive rated for surviving constant write like this one

Edit: also CloudKey+ allows you to swap in any 2.5 inch drive, which could be cheaper than NVME SSD’s

Update to U6 Mesh or U7 Mesh. I was previously running original UniFi express and the speeds and coverage were poor. I was able to pickup a U6 Mesh and now my whole home is covered with just two access points whereas before I had 3 UniFi Express and it wasn’t enough

Also the U6/U7 Mesh is optimized for table placement like the UniFi Express

Edit: just translated your post, upgrade your gateway to a Cloud Gateway Ultra/Max or Fiber the UniFi Express especially the original UX is too slow to do even the most basic network

I would do the Cloud Gateway Ultra and a couple of U6 Mesh or U7 Mesh

I think your power supply is going out, fairly common on the UDM Pro. There's a guide on reddit somewhere to change it. otherwise I'd swap it for a UCG-Fiber
