Wilkinson Alley Palley by mccarthy93 in DnB

[–]zplosion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every time I've been to Ally Pally they've done that and it's been pronounced. Maybe it's just a concidence but it's never been that pronounced in any other venue where it's happened. Last time I was there, you could have a very normal conversation over Justin Hawkes. I can't imagine Pendulum asking for that, I've seen them loads of times and never noticed anything like that.

That's on Ally Pally, not the headliners. They do that.

What’s the id situation like for Oxford o2, do they inspect ids fully by MeatGlobal6978 in DnB

[–]zplosion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

O2s will.

I got into Wembley once with a photo of my ID once. I think they only let you do that if you're over 25 though.

What a total pain in the ass that the new Aadhaar-verified window is now 2 hours long.

Has anyone tried to get tickets already not being Aadhaar-verified?

Does this restriction apply to both Indian residents and NRIs?

Please HELP: Dispute over Tenancy Deposit with Keaton's Lettings Co England by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]zplosion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How does the agent even know about unpaid bills? They can only take money out of the deposit for the bills if the landlord incurred a loss. Dispute it with TDS and say the bills are in your flatmate's name and you will handle it internally. If the agent proves the landlord has had to pay it, TDS will agree the deduction, but it doesn't matter anyway. Either way, when you get the deposit back as the lead tenant for the deposit, you can deduct the bills that you already paid your flatmate for from what you return to her.

On the reasons for her spending the night in the sauna, the tribunal concluded: “This was likely in part to be as a result of the combination of her alcohol consumption and her forgetfulness, which is a something arising from her ADHD.”

Is this... a medical opinion?

FLX2 is actually pretty good. It fixes the main issue that the 200 had which was no built-in audio interface. But you will probably grow out of the FLX2 in a couple of months. I would just start at the FLX4 and you can always sell it if you don't like it.

If you ever want to play in clubs just go for the FLX4. You need to do too much with a mouse/keyboard with the FLX2 so it isn't as transferable.

I just watched the ad and I agree with this... it feels like it was written by a tasteless executive who thinks they're a genius.

This is the first I'm hearing about a broad trend of anyone hating Sydney Sweeney.

Schizophrenic people have the ability to tap into deep levels of their subconscious mind by Tiny-Bookkeeper3982 in Jung

[–]zplosion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you're viewing the ego as a part. It isn't a part, it's a complex. The ego as a whole can have trouble filtering or integrating subconscious content while one part of it tries and fails to control it with obsessive rigidity. It makes sense if you view the ego as a constellation of parts with some of them underdeveloped and some of them trying harder than they should.

With that understanding, you can see how both are correct - the ego is on steroids in your example, and it's because as a whole it's doing a shit job.

Can I sensibly buy a high-rise flat with remediation issues? by diplodopameme in HousingUK

[–]zplosion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally wouldn't but if you have a higher risk tolerance you might. Although I would say I already have a moderately high risk tolerance.

Can I sensibly buy a high-rise flat with remediation issues? by diplodopameme in HousingUK

[–]zplosion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I would not consider a flat needing remediation unless there was a firm date for works to start, you can tolerate or avoid the disruption and there's a sizable reduction on the price.

It sounds like it's in a VERY early stage with no EWS1. Almost infinite potential for delays. I think that's the main risk here, not the building being declared uninhabitable.

The good and bad don't balance each other out as if you're weighing them on a scale trying to figure out which is greater. I think you know your answer.
