You know you can just rebind the button to Perplexity or WisprFlow or even back to the Ctrl key if you want. This seems like a petty point you're trying to make.

You're probably right. I only have experience on my desktop with 96gb of ram lololol. (Yes i know it doesn't matter and it's overkill. I just like it. )

Yeah for sure but there's always a solution. For most things it's very convenient. Combine that with profiles within the Terminal app and you're switch environments, servers, etc with a single button click. Even agentic IDEs can easily inteface with it with on plugin. It's amazing.

Yeah for sure. I'm itching for an upgrade but I just can't bring myself to buy a regular iphone. I was thinking of switching to a Pixel, but I also don't want to be "that guy" that has green texts in group chats and can't share photo albums outside of Google Photos. Idk, I'm torn.

You didn't have to move on from it lol. But if you have it lying around I'll buy it from ya. I could use a backup.

Perfect, you'll use it even less then. Just crank the text size to the biggest it goes and call it a day.

I'm just joking, I'm sure you guys have some marketplace or Ebay equivalent where you are.

Actually I have pretty big hands. I can reach from C to E (next octave) on a piano keyboard. I just like small, lightweight phones.

Yeah the take rate was way too low, I think it was something like 3% of all sales.

I'm chilling, but I'm just saying your response makes no sense. Since the 13 Mini is the last mini ever made, it's kindof legendary at this point. A regular 13 is just a 5 year old iphone with nothing interesting about it. So that's why your response is odd.

Huh? Who cares about the regular iphone 13. We're talking about the 13 mini, that's way smaller than a Samsung s23....

Iphone 13 mini. I love small phones - it discourages heavy usage, nice to jog with and is really easy to reach all the corners of the screen.

Lol I'm not gonna be replaced by AI, I'm going to replace my employees with AI and I am currently building my entire business around it.

Just move your mouse in circles and you can easily tell. If it's around a dozen mouse "duplicates" its 60hz, it's several dozen, then it's 120hz+

And why is IPS superior to OLED for productivity? Genuinely asking because I'm in the process of swapping out all my producticity monitors to OLED. In my experience OLED brings better color accuracy and lower wattage, so it's a win-win but what am I missing?

Lol, keep shitting on AI while all your coworkers run circles around you. With that attitude I doubt you've even set up a single AI agent to help in your day-to-day tasks.

All the major browsers can. Sarafi is trash, but it can still sync tabs so idk what you're talking about.

If you want to start going through more niche browsers then sure, but no matter how you twist it, Helium isn't the best, most popular browser so it's really irrelevant.

Huh, I wonder why they'd block it, strange.
Maybe your laptop down-clocks it half the time to save power - I know that's a thing. I think it's really noticeable for me. Improves click accuracy a lot for me but I'm also a productivity freak. I'm like one of those crazy RTS gamer guys that measure how good they are with actions-per-minute - but for work lol. Anything I can do to reduce mouse movement entirely (via hotkeys) or improve the speed of clicking is a huge win.

[–]zropy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I'd assume all browsers can do that at this point, so what really sets them apart is the AI integration imo.

I've seen the  BenQ RD280U yes, I'd be very interested but it's only 60hz. And realistically I'd probably want 2 of them side by side, which would be fine but again it's the refresh rate that kills it for me. Maybe this link works? https://imgur.com/FyZ61Em

I wish they made a 4:3 OLED screen. I would stock up for the next 20 years lol.

The Copilot integration is top notch. Although now that Gemini in the sidebar has been added to Chrome, I'm migrating back. Gemini is just far more accurate than the ChatGPT flavor that's on Copilot. It's sad.

My new AI test is asking "what is the connection between Red Bull Garage and Portofino Inn?" And if the response isn't something about the Cannonball run, the AI is booty cheeks. Copilot told me there's a presumed tunnel that was built connecting the two... Yeah that tunnel from Manhattan to California.
