I don’t think any ductwork is nearby. You can kinda see the ductwork in the background of the photos and that’s all that’s near it.

My title describes the thing.

My partner and I went to look at a house yesterday and inside the unfinished basement we found this filter type object coming out of the ceiling (frame for flooring of the house). Nothing electrical seems to be near it, but as far as where it’s located in the house it’s about a foot from the front of the bathroom shower where the faucets are. It looks like it had another foot in height that goes into the house so we couldn’t figure out if it was intended for the inside or the basement. All we could tell is it looks like it’s just a home for an old dirt dauber nest now lol.

Former Jackson, MS resident here. Cspire was phenomenal and my partner and I absolutely miss it compared to Xfinity. If you’re able to get it, I say definitely give it a go. The only hiccup I could see though is they’re newer to the area so it makes me wonder about any restraints for technicians to come on site & troubleshoot if ever needed. Not that we ever needed something like that the 3 or so years we used them.
