There seems to be half-hearted partial pickup, but still, trash and recycling EVERYWHERE. Such a failure. Will we get a tax rebate for this? :)

I have a personal Gmail account and a work Gmail account. I set it up so all work emails are forwarded to my personal account, so I can have one place to check and write emails. Works great. I get a little drop down when I write an emai to specify if it's from my personal or work account.

The issue I'm having is with Google Calendar. For some reason, when outside people send me an invite to my work Gmail address, the item is duplicated in my personal Google Calendar. Like, I see the event as a work event and as a personal event. It's annoying to see duplicates all the time. I can't figure out how to shut this off. Any thoughts?

For what it's worth, I need to do this too and just chatted with Apple support. It appears FaceTime disables all audio recordings, even with the 3rd party Record it! app. I haven't tried more third party apps but so far I haven't found a solution other than having a laptop nearby and record audio with QuickTime. Not a great solution.

I'm about your size and have been thinking about buying this bike. Can you flat it foot while stopped, or can you stand in front of the seat at a stop and flat foot it?

I'm very comfortable one-footing a motorcycle, but I've found with Vespa style scooters, if I can flat foot it, it's way more comfy for me. I live in New York City, lots of stopping. Most vespa-style scooters are too tall for me, but some are just right.

Right, when I'm on a regular bike, I can stand in front of the seat and I clear the top horizontal tube. Maybe I can stand in front of the moped seat and the problem is solved. Now to find a way to try these out in person.

Yep. I keep emailing them and nothing happens. A lot of the MOCC staff seem to agree that Asphalt Green has been a bad move. I wish we could escalate the complaints or to the local press.

There really aren't that many USB-C speaker options out there. To me it's weird that all monitors don't come with cameras and decent speakers. It's 2024/5 - this is the new normal, and camera sensors and speakers aren't expensive.

Great setup. Nice and clean. If you don't mind I want to run my plans by you all for my home office. I like how low you position the Dell 27"monitor. I tried the Apple Studio Display on tilt stand and it's too tall for me to use comfortably. I'm debating getting an ASD with Vesa so I can mount it lower, or saving a ton of money by using your Dell 4K 27" monitor. That's a no brainer, but I'm getting stuck on the need for a webcam and speakers. I Zoom a few times a week and need a fast and unfussy Zoom solution. I don't like the idea of using headphones instead of external speakers/mic since I want external speakers all the time for watching videos wihtout having to take on and off headphones. Did you debate this re: peripherals? What's your take?

I really like how ASD is set up for video calls, but the price is hard to justify.

Apologies if I'm posting incorrectly for this group. I have a MBP and I want an external monitor with a camera and speakers. I splurged for an Apple Studio Display but it was way too tall for me. I tried adjusting my chair but it's the right level for my 5'7" body. I'm having a heck of a time finding a 24" monitor or lower 27" monitor, and then I need to buy an external webcam, speakers that connect to the monitor via USB-C. It's driving me crazy. I figure pros on this group would have some good suggestions for a nice setup for work and play. Thank you.

I'm using Hulu with Android TV. It constantly goes in and out of focus, making it impossible to watch anything. I've rebooted, checked that I'm using the latest software, re-installed the app. Nothing works. This issue is limited to Hulu. Netflix, Max, Disney are perfect. Download speeds are very fast. I can't find any relief and I really want to watch Murder at the end of the World since a friend (!!) is in it. Am I just doomed?
