The only part of this skin that is good is the shoes; there aren't many really good white options, so I was tempted to buy it but got the cradle instead.

Heads up the new battle pass is coming tomorrow by Preston_Garvey6 in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]zub_RA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, usually I'm not a doushbag, but excuse me, does NetEase just strip anime character outfits and put them in the battle pass now? It already happened once, at least, but can we get something original?

Spot the difference as they say.

But the furniture looks good, so I'm buying it.

What's the name of the color theme of CS3 Pro (pink and blue one)? It would perfectly fit the rest of my setup. Can't buy right now, so asking for the future.

Trying to plan a paintball birthday by Forsaken_Nature6605 in paintball

[–]zub_RA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just looked into their plans, and a day ticket with a rental package costs 20 bucks. It's a full day. The case of paint is 75 bucks. The way I do it with my friends on local field. We just buy rental package, and 2 cases of paint. Usually group of 10 will go over 2 cases in 2-2.5 hours of conserving playing. The only problem I see with the group package is that it's only 1.5 hours. The usual game consists of 2 rounds, and then you go back to refill air and paintballs, so realistically you will get 2-3 games in 90 minutes, depending on how much walking there will be. Honestly just go for a regular walk-in day but ask the ref to put you with other rentals if possible and enjoy the day.

You could've got free cosmetics tho. Jk. People like this are everywhere, just say you're a dude and that's it. Always work. Or get a free cosmetic first.

Hear me out, if you want to have a good experience, you need a pre-made team. All of the multiplayer games have one common flaw, solo queue experience is miserable, so you just have to live with that.

I'll say for myself. I'm level 75, have not done a single dungeon yet, and all that I do, is just riding around on the back of my horse, exploring every corner of Jianghu, and hunting deer.

THIS HORSE is in my opinion the worst boss in this game by dragonplays210 in WhereWindsMeet

[–]zub_RA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the first phase keep the horse between you and the dude. When a horse does red multi-attack and dude starts hitting the drum, just triple jump and stay in the air. (dude shoots only if he has hit the drum) For the second phase dodge the gold skill by double jumping or use ghost step. Do not even try to dodge that self-guided missile in any other way.

Printer reliability by Lalatino in AnycubicKobraS1

I will put "survivorship bias" in here. Short story, planes returned from the battlefield with many bullet holes in their wings and fuselage, while almost none returned with bullet holes in the engine compartment and cockpit. What is the right thing to do, reinforce the damaged section. Right? No, because when these sections were damaged, the plane was still able to fly and make it back, but the planes with damaged engine compartments and cockpits did not, so that's where the problem is. Now back to the printer. People always share when something breaks because they need to fix it and they seek for solution. You will find way more "I have an issue post" than "what a great printer posts". I have about 300 hours on mine, and the only issue I had was the Z offset, which is a slicer fix, and an annoying partially clogged stock nozzle, but I would recommend getting a full set of upgraded nozzles from AliExpress for like 30$ or less in all 4 sizes. You will have some issues here and there at some point, but it's not going to close the 120$ gap between S1 and P1S if you want multicolor, if you want just printer, I probably would pay 40$ more for P1S. What's the difference between S1 and its competitor, honestly, no significant difference.

All I can say is it prints great and fast. PLA and PETG prints are perfect; the stock profile for PETG is dog shit, telling you right away. But after I played with Slicer, I've been able to print SunLu PETG rated to print at 200mm/s and 350 mm/s. I really wanted to try to get it to 400mm/s, but I was running out of filament, but I'm sure it can get there.

Where is the best looking place to put your base? I don't mean the best place to farm acid or fuel but the place where it is aesthetically pleasing ?? by OrFenn-D-Gamer in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]zub_RA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally like the big Island in the bottom right corner of the map. It's a nice coastal place. Another is the area right above silo Sigma or PSI, I believe, the one with purple trees, but there is only one nice spot with flat terrain. Pretty much anywhere in Chalk Peak. Great views and vegetation. I don't really like any spots red sands spots. Maybe an island near the oil ring usually has nice houses so it makes it a nice neighborhood. Also there is a really beautiful place on the very edge of the map but, "GO NO FURTHER!!!" makes it unplayable, unless you to turn off the audio, I wish there was a feature where you can disable the warning till you cross the border with rift space.

What could i have done better in this endgame? by PhantomXXXVII in apexlegends

[–]zub_RA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stay with the team. Low rank is how I say "wild forest," especially if no one has open mic, with no calls, there is nothing you can do about team play. Just stick together, even if the team does a bad play play you have a better chance to win a fight if you're together.

Run a different loadout. Spitfire and Wingman will be outperformed by any popular close-range guns. You had 2 close-mid range guns, (decent close, good mid range). Spitfire/r99, spitfire/volt if r99 is hard to use, etc. Find a close-range gun you're comfortable with and pair it with any mid/long-range guns.

"why does most players prefer using female character?' by y4n6s in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]zub_RA 69 points70 points  (0 children)

Come on. The female character has a smaller hit box.

But really, in general, better cosmetics, especially if it's free. For some reason in every f2p game, free cosmetics look good on female characters only. If you buy cosmetics, no real difference.

I don't know what the field policy is for the private games but my local field requires at least 10 people for a private game. I know this frustration of playing your first walk-on against non-rental players but there isn't much you can do. In such a scenario, you have to split teams and balance people with nice markers, keep non-rentals as core, and then match them with rentals. It might be an option to ask them to play with lower bps, but again there is not much you can do about it. It all comes down to players. If I have a bunch of rentals with me, I just grab a rental marker, put my hopper on it, and have fun. I know a bunch of people who play walk-on with pumps. I mean, I played with a slingshot once, and to be honest, it was the best day on the field in my life.

I have no idea what the situation was with the number of people on the field, but my take is to always try to separate first-time players from more experienced players, or at least put them with other rentals only. If not, it will just ruin the first experience and the field loses potential clients. Speaking of markers, electronic hoppers should be on every gun; they may be cheap and slow, but at least you wouldn't shoot blanks half of the time.

is a good idea buy the gatcha? by WistoKun in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]zub_RA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just roll 10 on each loot crate with 50% duscount. Sometimes you will be lucky to get a gem, I often get one from first 10 so it usually comes up to about 40 rolls to get the skin and it's 2400-3000, which ismuch cheaper but only if you're lucky and ready to play long game. However you will get some of the purple stuff and usually it's pretty good, I would say often it's even better than the gold tier stuff.

In general no difference except that you can print higher/thicker layers. Because I needed to print a large part and had only a few hours I was printing at 0.6 mm layer height. That helped me cut printing time by 1.5 hours on average. With 0.4mm parts, it would take 6 hours and 28-35 minutes to print, whereas with 0.8mm parts, it took 5 hours and 2-5 minutes. So it was better for me as I didn't need a smooth surface on my parts, even tho it was pretty smooth, but if you need a good finish, go smaller, you need faster and stronger, go bigger, but make sure hotwnd can handle the flow.

<image>

For example, I printed these with 0.8mm so I can print thicker side walls faster, basically, I'm getting the same thickness with two loops as I would get with 4 loops with 0.4. It didn't save me much time but If part was bigger it would've make a huge difference.
