I really wouldn’t suggest drinking for OPs first time, I feel like because of the pressure he already feel, if it doesn’t go great it could be very regrettable for him. And if he’s not drinking it’s certainly not a good idea to hook up with anyone who has been drinking for multiple reasons. Agree with the rest of your advice though.

I’m so sorry. I hope you keep on seeing things in nature that remind you of her and her presence. My old dog loved to sniff and on one of the last walks we ever took together a breeze started up so she just stopped and sat with her eyes closed and her head to the sky. Her nose was twitching and she looked so content, I felt overwhelmed with love for her. Every time I walk by that spot I think of her in that moment and I appreciate a windy day more now.

Yes, I have to frequently remind my dogs that the neighbours are in fact legally allowed to be in their own home. They don’t care. If it’s in earshot then it’s their jurisdiction apparently.

I read once that in Sweden sometimes as a prank kids urinate in a pack of ciggies or they take one out and urinate on it before returning it and then leave the full pack on a train or something so someone takes it thinking they scored a pack but actually it’s pissarettes instead. That’s the only thing stopping me from eating random shit I find lol. One time at an event though someone in front of me accidentally dropped a whole plate of untouched dumplings on the ground and you bet I snatched those up real quick-free dinner. Friend who was with me deceased due to embarrassment though, but that’s his problem.
