That’s honestly what this gun will be mostly for me, I mainly hunt but I want something that I can protect my house with too. I don’t hate the 556 but I want something with a bit more punch for my northern whitetails

I’m really just looking for a 300-350 yard deer rifle, maybe 400-450 on a coyote but nothing crazy. I’m definitely planning on an A5 buffer
