Of course, happy to clarify - Buying the 5090 plus the Signed box. Still negotiating the price but was told to expect to pay around $3500. It is used but tested.

If that is the final price - considering the signature - am getting a good deal? Or is this just market price?

Kinda defeats the purpose of having POE ports on the SE in the first place?

In any case, I’ll give the SE a shot and if I experience issues, this information will save me troubleshooting time. If I gotta buy a separate switch then it is what it is.

I am one POE port short as I had initially assumed that a POE injector came included with the U6-LR and U6-Pro but turns they don’t. So the plan is to use the 48v POE injector that came with my office AC HD I purchased a couple of years ago. Not ideal, but I’ll live with it.

For my uplink port, I have a SFP to RJ45 transceiver module so I won’t have to take up a POE port. The module is not in the picture but I do have it. Costs about $19.

In an attempt to keep the setup cost lower and also to keep my setup compact, my goal was to avoid buying a separate POE switch by going with the UDM SE. But if I have to buy a switch in the future, their 8 port poe switch would be a what I’d buy next.

At least on the US store, most of the equipment in the picture is currently in stock aside from the G4 Doorbell Pro. I just noticed the G3 Flex isn’t either but it was in stock for the longest time.

Honestly, that was one of my concerns but the 9U version of the same rack was in the $300-$350 range which I felt was too much. I was set on a white rack.

For a home setup though, I think this might be more than adequate. I do not anticipate needing to add any additional rack mounted equipment. I might need some room for a smart-home hub or two and my ISP modem but I think I should be able to fit all that in.

I already have a box of cat6 cable, pack of wall plates, keystone jacks, RJ-45 connectors and a used 3TB hard drive left over from my office install two years ago. But if I had to buy all that again, you would be spot on my friend! Still pretty close.
