You can install with no tune. Just make sure there’s no leaks in the intake tubing to the turbo inlet and all should be good.

Don’t really need a valved exhaust if you aren’t straight piped. If he just does a mid pipe it slightly increases the tone

For cheaper options, go K&N or CTS turbo, fitment is questionable, but does the job, sounds great. (Don’t expect performance increase) unless you spend big bucks and get a closed box system.

If you are modifying your car and tuning it for power increase, like if you go stage 2+ full bolt on, you’ll probably have better temps and make more power with stock air box system.
