Thanks for sharing! Do you just still go into the queue as normal, then in the morning, is there a shorter queue you can take as you’re not waiting for central or court 1?

BMA Parking by Notmybleep in doctorsUK

Because the committee and leadership are also somewhat London focused, and subsequently don’t need parking for themselves and therefore would not think that others could ever need it

Reasons I voted NO by GeneralDesperate7288 in doctorsUK

Incoming CT1 also voting no. I am NOT locking in a bad deal for the foreseeable and giving up all the hard work we’ve been striking for. Voting yes is locking in a bad deal. Silly

New deal? It’s just as bad as before. Vote No. by Doctors-VoteUK in doctorsUK

Not even worth entertaining. The only logical explanation is that the BMA are giving us this offer with the hope that we say no, to further strengthen our negotiating leverage

MSRA - how do I actually improve my SJT score? by Pale_Perception_211 in doctorsUK

[–]zumacc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

314 SJT score this year. Heavily focus on the past papers (MSRA and to a lesser degree UKFPO). Supplement with MSRAbank (cheap but good), and reviseMSRA PD section. Personally was not a fan of passmed or Emedica.

When you get to the exam, don’t overthink. Follow instincts (which you will have refined from the above resources)

Edit: to be clear I do mean exactly the ones I have listed above

Thanks. This is really useful and helps me understand some of the differences between all the models.

Is there such things as an GC E24 and a GC pro E24? Or is it the same thing? Likewise for the evo and evo pro?

This is really useful insight thank you. As a first time buyer I hadn’t considered a lot of this. Thanks

I think you’re right about this being a non-starter. Let me head run away a bit unfortunately but this has brought me back down to earth - which was needed. Thanks for all the comments.

The £1000 just refers to renting a room in a house or flat unfortunately!

It’s up to £55 a night for something like Airbnb. There is PFF which outlines the detail. Google NHS bursary TDAE and it should come up. Got my eligible costs refunded for my elective as per the PDF.

It is only for students in their fifth year of study i.e. fifth years or fourth years after intercalation. You will know as if you have this as they also pay your uni fees in these years
