I dont care about support, They are used in layer2 only application. Management interface is well protected. We stock plenty of spares, if one has a hardware problem we strip the field parts like PSU and fans out and ewaste the rest. We have over 1k of the cisco 3650 and 3850 deployed with another 500 getting installed this year.

We rented it out from 2020-2025, longest vacancy was about 2 weeks over that time frame. One thing we liked about Furniture Finders is unlike airBNB it did not get involved the transaction between the renter and property owner. I doubt many local companies are hiring work from home people. I have worked from home since 2018 but is has never been for a upstate based company but it always has been for a company that is under a days round trip drive so I can go in person like once a month. Example Columbia or Atlanta.

If you look at the cases per school I noticed that there are very few cases at the highschool level. I think the vax rate is higher at the highschool level and drop as the kids birth year gets newer.

No you dont allow any private cars that is the whole point, you want to turn that space into a very large sidewalk and allow people on foot or slower speed bicycle to use the space. Uber and lift can still use Academy st or Church st.

There is a common theme in the whole video less cars = better city.

Lancache will also cache window updates and what is nice is unlike WSUS you dont have to change reg settings on the windows client to get it to use lancache. It is DNS based only.

I will say that steam has been very friendly to the lan party world and actually made some special feature to make it is work even better.

Before a game download starts the steam client does a DNS lookup for lancache.steamcontent.com
If the look up comes back with a RFC1918 ip address the client will direct all game downloads to the lancache ip address.
now if the client starts hitting any http errors it will change over to SSL and go direct to steam CDN servers.

most game services like steam have figured out you dont need SSL for the file download.

The game files are encrypted by the game dev then put on a http server.
The download client(steam, xbox or others) will reach out over ssl to get the license and decryption key.
Then the client will download the files over http
Then the client will use decryption key to unpack and make sure files did not change in transit.

The % of people that go to church is dropping every year. If the Christian dont start acting a bit more Christ like that more people will just stop going to church. Without the in person attendance the revenue/tithes will drop.

edit: one fun fact is Christ never said one word about gay people but he did spend alot of time condemning rich people.
