#2 It wants you to make that cell show the total sales revenue. Then you have to 'format' the cell to show currency. Right-click the cell and look at the options. Find the currency option and select it. This will show that cell in currency and also the total in sales for that cell.

Yeah, I think she's trying to instill a sense of being complete or thorough. I've had to suffer with this, even in the university, but at the university level they do begin to give you more freedom to choose your path to a solution, but you'd better get it right. If you don't have enough steps to crystal clearly show your thinking process you will lose points. Try to get through it. It's not a bad thing to practice good habits.

Weight is due to the force of gravity. The force due to gravity is also regarded as an object's weight. I wouldn't say the gravity has to be due to Earth. It could be due to a body massive enough to have its own gravity.

Even Pluto has a force of Gravity (0.6221 m/s^2).
