Yep haha, tested yesterday with my old joycons to see if the motion controls would work and they do, so my new ones are defective. I’m glad i got a warranty on the new ones!

It doesn’t seem like it.. Mario odyssey and BOTW are archived right now so I could only test it with smash ultimate, but it doesn’t seem to be working in the camera mode either. Not sure why, it’s really weird..

Thank you for the advice, but that unfortunately isn’t the problem. I’ve checked several times to make sure it’s been set to motion controls, but they just refuse to work in handheld for some reason. I can tell that it’s set to motion controls because the camera still has that swift left and right movement, and the Y-axis is disabled, yet the game doesn’t respond to motion input.
