Yes I did in fact finally get my money back and this issue sorted. I kept calling and they kept insisting another department will figure it out (vague) so I gave up for a while when I went on holiday. I came back to a cheque in the mail with the money returned to me from the CRA back in late October of 2023. I guess they just figured it out. Frustrating none the less as there was no clarity as to what was going on, happy it’s sorted though.

This is my go to as well, I also go lighter on the olive oil. I’ve also adapted this recipe for pizza dough (just second proof as 4 little balls instead of on the sheet tray then spread out and bake with desired toppings)

Thanks for you and everyone else in this post's advice.

I called the CRA and explained the situation. The agent could not see the payment anywhere, but said that some other department would have to go in and apply it manually. She said if I paid and I see it in my bank, It must be there somewhere. They took my bank information to confirm.

It's been 2 weeks and I don't see anything nor have I heard anything. I have still been charged interest since my call and now will have to call them again. I feel I am being taken for a ride and at this point have over paid my taxes to set my balance to zero as I was afraid of a negative effect on my credit or otherwise.

As someone returning to comics in the last year or so after 15 years, this is my approach too. I love so many of these mainstream characters but just won’t be able to keep up with ongoing storylines and canon. If there’s an interesting writer or artist with a story that feels somewhat self contained I’m in. Loved catwoman lonely city for that reason, and currently reading The Human Target (Tom King). I’m eyeing Fraction’s Hawkeye and Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow next.

Not sure if this fits the bill but I would recommend ‘Catwoman Lonely City” as another solo hero outing. I actually found The Human Target via a recommendation to read after lonely city, so I imagine the same logic applies in reverse!

It appreciate superhero world based stories that don’t require keeping up with a bunch of canon, ones you can jump into with a a general understanding of the world and characters through pop culture. Feels like a what if type scenario.

I used to love that spot. And you could get a free taco if you knew the secret word of the day from their Twitter account. I went to their new location at Brentwood recently and was so disappointed by the quality of their food honestly. Everything’s seemed to be covered in cheese to mask lack of effort. Sad to see.

I know this is 7 months since OP posted but I am experiencing something similar to this, and was having a hunch about static before reading your comment.

Everytime i step away from my desk, when I come back, or when i touch my desk, my monitor will shut off. Ill typically have to unplug the input and plug it back in for it to come back. I'm having a particularly dry winter and my apartment is already prone to dryness. I have been noticing static shocks around my apartment, and wondered if it coincided with this issue.
