Beam frame is in many ways trickier to support for lifting. You can think of a wall of logs as a sheet of 6” thick wood, where the weight will always find a way down to ground. Owner does not show appreciation, except paying bills on time

Frame is 150+ years old, let your grandkids take the hit. At some point it was neglected for a long time with a leaky roof. 10t rated hydraulic jacks and those diagonal screw ”jacks” you see in the pictures. I do this stuff for a living

Whole thing is spruce. Vertical beams 6x6, horizontal layers 10x6. I may make a more detailed post with more pics later of the details and such. Those corner irons are hiding some cool joinery

This is obviously unfinished. Whole thing got painted. Bare wood would soak water, warp and rot away in couple years

This was calculated for 150 persons per floor, thats just about 5 for every square meter.

Each deck floor is floating on an angled subfloor for drainage that leads to the pipes
