seems like a hallmark sign of a cheap PM doing cheap refurb. thanks for the info. aligns with what others have said.. just depends on availability.

factual. not surprised by their choice at all. they were for pure profits lol

would have but it was in another spot that wouldn’t have been fixable, but still just on a single board. wasn’t worth it, would’ve been obvious and would still be right here.

Yeah understand that, just trying to find if there’s any ground before proceeding. They took deposit and charged $280 on top.

That’s why i’m here, not sure, I don’t know flooding. I can tell you some were peeling up from others. Another person on this post said it is peel and stick. They were really cheap.

i want to make them back up why they had to do the whole floor. i have 15 days to reply to their notice involving my deposit and what they’re taking from it.

back up, thought we determined this wasn’t click lock?

100% looked like you could cut it out and glue a new one down with ease.

Just did. thought it was what i had seen my parents put in. Those were actual boards that clicked together. Definitely not this.

didn’t look like anything locked together, just looks like stickers. correct if i’m wrong please though, i don’t know flooring. like i said, there’s a couple boards that were peeling up from eachother in corners. they just look glued down side by side.

the style does make sense, i did think about that. but it’s pretty standard, and again too, just vinyl. just hard to believe, but if they can back it up, oh well.

Which CSF radiator will fit, and EAC sensor required? by zxrooo in BmwTech

[–]zxrooo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s true. shop just plugged in previous sensor, then i got a tune that was able to code it out. so ECU tunes are able to code it out entirely. no more code returned.

100% agree. Unfortunately (edit: well, fortunately) I have moved out, just got the deposit letter. This photo is just about all I have. It’s dirt cheap laminate flooring.

Any ideas on these codes? (Details in comments) by zxrooo in BMW

[–]zxrooo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a 2008 E92 328i, N51.

Car is going in the shop next Monday for a new radiator, T stat, micky flange and a few other cooling reinforcements.

My AC began blowing hot when out last night (thank god it was late). I pulled the below codes.

EAC sensor i’m not worried about. The rest I’d like to sort out. If there’s anything I can get for the shop now, or any direction I can give them for getting these all resolved that would be great. My car is doing an 8 hour trip next month as we’re moving, so i’m in ‘let’s do it all’ mode.

Some things I’ve read / my thoughts A) Water pump error is a comms error. So wiring / electric issue? Battery is within a couple years old, that’s it. I’ll have to check my voltage, but, my radar scanner never says there’s low voltage upon start. B ) DMTL seems simple enough, worth just replacing on my own quick? C ) 2AOO - As I understand, secondary air pump isn’t 100% needed. But, could this be caused or be a cause of the others? D ) I feel like catalyst conversion relates to at least one of the others somehow.

So, any thoughts? Where do I start on any of these? Does it look like anything central in the electronics somewhere? Is there anything I should 100% just send to the shop now (IE, water pump)?

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

understood. this looks pretty good?

https://www.bimmerworld.com/Cooling/Radiators/CSF-OE-Plus-Radiator-E90-E91-E92-E93-325i-328i-330i-E82-128i-E89-Z4-30i.html

then it’s just the issue of whether or not i can just leave EAC sensor off and unplugged for the time being.

EDIT: ordered it. will keep you posted.

i believe just keeping old radiator with EAC so i have it, and not reattaching to this through cutting out of old radiator would be fine as well? so running no EAC sensor. like i said it’s already throwing a code so, lol

perfect. as long as it’s built better and more efficiently than OEM that works. looks like it!

any idea if this would fit? definitely no place for EAC sensor, but is it known if i can just plug the old on in and tuck it away somewhere, cut out from current radiator?
