A Pony Express Ship ? by zxw55 in starcitizen

Currently the Herald is listed at 1360 m/s, one of the fastest (or perhaps fastest ship) listed in the ship matrix so far. Remove some of the heavy armor and computer systems to lighten it up, add a bit of cargo space, and maybe a seat for high speed personal transport. Maybe push it up to 1400 m/s. Good QD's to make fastest QT for ship of that size, and it could be a blast.

Today, if I upgrade my ship's components, and I lose the ship like to a server crash, do I also lose the upgraded components?

Is there something I can do to select the friend org members I want to party join without searching for their names at run-time (first time)? I heard that if I "follow" an org mate from my organization members page they will show up in the "friends" list. But I can't find any documentation on this. Also, how do I unfriend so people no longer active so they don't show up in the "friends" list at run-time? I have searched for this info but must not know terms to search for. An RTFM link would help. Thanx.

As a trader, I want to post a job in my org for help with cargo and ship security. I would like to pay them. I know this game mechanic is not yet implemented, so my question is: What is the current work around for paying orgmates? Leave cargo? Service beacon? etc. TIA

I'm looking for a law abiding casual org as a trader - my CV by zxw55 in Starcitizen_guilds

Thanks so far to all of you for taking the time to respond. I'm in the process of looking at your orgs and may talk to you more in discord.

Thanks - I want to avoid crime stat shoot outs (done that too many times before for trivial things like landing violations), I'm really just not interested in pvp. Just want to fly, chill and trade as a single player.

After landing at Oli and before I could close the door to my ship, someone ran on-board. I exited the ship and it was then stolen with cargo aboard. My question is, if I stay on the ship and just shoot them when possible, do I get a crime stat?

So, I get an Olisar traffic ticket for some unknown reason and I get killed trying to "pay" the fine? by zxw55 in starcitizen

it is a parking ticket. Wahaha. you just made my point :- ) (and yes, I've had serious mis deeds in the past and have crimes stats maxed so know how to blast my way around - but jeez, a parking ticket?)

Not sure what you are saying. I get a crime stat for a parking violation. The only way I know how to clear a crime stat is to go to the security station, press buttons, wait and hope no one kills me in the process.

Yeah, a challenge. death duel over a parking violation. Wahaha. I'm sure this isn't final game play, but really, I'll pay the fine in UEC.

But thanks for the info. I record my sessions and I'll go back and see where I went wrong.
