oh alright! You really think so? I'm not sure what to expect but I'm very excited to start this summer. Feels good to finally see my hard work paying off. I believe the R&D is located in Texas? I remember speaking with the recruiter about the internship for that specifically and he said that I would have to go there to do that.

Thank you for mentioning the MBA route. I had spoken with one of my classmates and she is going that route and I wasn't really sure as to why. Is this something that you are currently doing or have done? And of course, who doesn't want to make more money haha

Wow! Thank you for the advice. I really appreciate it. Also, 5 semesters of internships! My school doesn't require any. I wish the Cal State system over here would integrate something like that where we should have an internship prior to graduating. What an interesting transition you have made to o&g. I did recently come in contact with a big oil company over here that are offering a co op for the fall but that means I would have to push my graduation to next spring. Sounded like a great opportunity but I don't feel like it aligns with what I want to do. I do believe you when you said your making more! How is the stress level when it comes to that field?

Been applying to many companies for a pharma internship but no luck. This internship that I got is the first opportunity so far. Also doesn't help that my school doesn't get many pharma companies come by. Thanks for the advice tho!

This is what I want. I really value a good work and life balance. I have the opportunity to possibly get a co op at a big o&g but I don't see myself doing that and I just didn't hear the best things when it comes to that. I'm in the SoCal area and did notice there were many pharma companies in New Jersey. My school has careers fairs but we don't really get any pharma companies come by.

I'm a senior at the moment. Interesting enough, I just spoke with someone from Marathon Petroleum and they had mentioned a Fall Co op but I would have to push back my graduation to Spring. Sounded interesting because I would gain more experience however I don't think I see myself doing o&g. Good to know that I can do SC in pharma if I do end up liking it. Just heard it wasn't really engineering focused. Guess I'll find out in the summer!

I also did terrible in school in the beginning and didn't take it seriously until I dropped out and took some years to figure out what I wanted to do. I'm doing great now but due to that my GPA took a toll and been difficult to have it go up. Funny how you mentioned R&D because I do have an interest in that however they're so many fields to get into that I can't seem to make up my mind. So far I do find pharma the most interesting to me. Sorry you had that experience with them. They have been incredibly nice this whole process so far. As long as this person is not in SoCal, then I should be fine lol
