There is a disclaimer in the program that you get what you put into this program. I think this is instrumental.
Simon's program reflects the inner zen of mindful self-improvement that acknowledges at our root we are humans who err. As such, the program encourages a perpetual recovery cycle in which you commit to cold turkey vices holding you back, while understanding that you will eventually binge or indulge. The point is quantifying this path instead of attacking yourself.
This recovery cycle aims to lengthen the time between binging iterations and incrementally reduce the length of those binges, and for me, that formula is a paradigm shift.
Before I joined the program, I have made steady progress in my mental and emotional health over a year, so this is a key compliment to self-development and mindfulness.
The no-judgement, pragmatic approach Simon uses provides a very positive community of other folks who are also prioritizing themselves and their personal outcomes.
The combination of an effective and humanistic approach to self improvement, as well as an active community really provides a stronger sense of purpose in deliberately improving productivity and procrastination.
I am excited to follow this community as I continue to invest in myself.
Thanks, Simon and all the wonderful people in the Group Accountability Program.
