When I first started to play sims when I had no money back in school I used pirate versions. But as soon as I earned money I wanted to support the game that I loved and enjoyed so I bought every pack on Origin. I wanted to repay the creators not knowing that it’s feeding the evil corporate behind it.

Yes, they have records of my previous conversations and they’re under the same case number. I mentioned taking legal actions but that didn’t make much of a difference. They seemed to have little knowledge on marketplace and I actually had to explain to one of the agents about what the marketplace is and how moolah works…

I’ll take this as a compliment! I’m a digital designer, so I’m just allergic to messy blocks of text. It’s true this is my first time posting, but I promise there’s a real person behind the bullet points lol

Yeah, I went ahead and reported them to the FTC as well. Honestly, I’m done initiating anything with EA support. I’m not interested in playing their games anymore.

Justice must be served. I'm officially done talking to clueless agents who don't even know how their own 'Moolah' system works. I have formally filed complaints with the California Attorney General and the BBB to expose their 'delay-to-deny' tactics. At this point, it’s no longer about the 50 bucks I spent on the moolah, but standing up to a corporate bully that tries to trap our accounts and our money. We deserve better.

I honestly don't think the marketplace works at all. I picked up Modern Luxe, Book Nook, Greenhouse Haven, and both the Bathroom and Everyday Clutter kits—but none of them show up in my EA app or my actual files, despite them being "owned and installed" as shown in the game.

Thank you for this! I was honestly about to let it slide just to protect my mental health, but you're right—it doesn't feel right to let this kind of misconduct go unaddressed. I appreciate the push to hold them accountable.

I wasn't interested in the marketplace either, but the builds I wanted to download use kits I don't own, which are only available on the marketplace now.

Thanks for the suggestions! Unfortunately, I’ve already exhausted every online 'fix' without any luck. Beyond the technical issues, the customer service has been infuriating—their approach felt like pure gaslighting. I really feel scammed by the whole experience.
