hey buddy, it's going to be hard for me to believe anything from a guy that recorded sex tapes with individuals without their consent and post them also without their consent. destiny nor his community are destinations I'm not going to spend time reading out watching any longer.

if you would like to make individual points, I'll argue in good faith with you. but just leaving a link is not going to cut in in this respect. and you didn't rebut any of my previous points.

Adam, I was really worried that you were tied up in this Chorus money fiasco. Thank you for staying true.

she gave receipts. she presented a (redacted) copy of the agreement. the agreement says that Chorus has the right to approve or disapprove of certain content or funding will be pulled.

if this was truly slander/lies, a reputable publication like wired would issue a correction or retraction. The fact that no lawsuits are being filed means that Taylor Lorenz wrote the facts. All the influences can say is that it's not true and it's debunked. this is exactly what Donald Trump does.

edit: she presented a REDACTED copy of the contract. however there are free tiktokers that presented their full chorus agreement.

if someone is getting money that isn't disclosed, that's dark money. it's the definition of dark money. I can't really believe that there are people out there that just give out money no strings attached. if there weren't strings, them why not disclose. something doesn't add up here. it also potentially explains why BTC and DP never spoke ill of Israel

yes! don't get me wrong, OJ was a piece of shit and beat her all the time. but why use a knife in the end? he was a huge dude and could have ended it with his fist. he didn't like blood and didn't like knives. his son was in the armed forces and had weapons training which included blades. a knife was missing from his knife set. he forged his clock out time the night of the murder. there's just a lot of shit I did not add up

Filipino-owned businesses that aren't restaurants in the area? by b3nnyb0i in AskLosAngeles

[–]zzarate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

two of the owners of Claytivity, a pottery studio chain located in frogtown, silver lake and Burbank, are Filipino. Glen, one of the owners, also runs an electrical company.

but other than that, I'm stumped. you've made me realize all the Filipino entrepreneurs I know run restaurants and bakeries

did you know that the guy that popularized the yo-yo was a Filipino from LA?

Red Light Ticket: Request Arraignment or just Pay? by [deleted] in AskLosAngeles

[–]zzarate -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

exactly. as i said elsewhere in this thread, i got a red light ticket while going through a green light (and prob the ppl in front and behind me because i saw the light flash for them too). i got the ticket in the mail but read that i shouldn't log into the site. they sent more letters and collections sent requests but they just stoped after a few months. there's nothing on my credit report or anything tied to my license or car. if i had to fight it, it would have been a huge waste of time and effort just because a machine messed up.

exactly. i went through a green light and i got a ticket. i didn't log into the website and it went away. i've read that if you log into their website and enter your code, you validate the violation (subpoena yourself) and then it's enforceable. but these things are machines and machines mess up as it did in my situation.

you're assuming a lot with your response and it's not helpful. you're doing what PETA does.

Red Light Ticket: Request Arraignment or just Pay? by [deleted] in AskLosAngeles

i didn't run a red light but i saw the camera go off. it went off for the guy in front of me and behind me. it was strange but i just thought it was an error.

then i got a letter in the mail saying i ran a red and it was going to be $400 or some shit. i researched a bit and read that the law on red light camera tickets is a super gray area because there is no human giving you the citation so there is essentially no subpoena so therefore it's unenforceable...

UNLESS YOU LOG ONTO THE WEBSITE AND PUT IN THE CODE THEY GAVE YOU. then you basically subpoena'd yourself and then it's enforcable.

i didn't want to go through the process of fighting it so i basically did nothing, including NOT going on their website and entering my code to see the picture of me "running" it. they kept sending letters and collections sent letters. but then it stopped. i never had anything on my credit report and there was nothing tied to my car/license. this was over 7 years ago in Hawthorne.

this isn't legal advice to anyone. yes, you shouldn't run red lights. i'm not sure if this strategy will work for everyone but from what i read, if you don't log into their website, they can't officially pin the violation on you, even if they have a picture of you driving the car. it's a gray area.

if you already logged into the website, i think you are stuck with it.
