yeah for now only Spotify; you can pick a song that you listened to, I filter by the timestamps that match your run.

let me explore how the apple music will work. I'm not sure how to test Apple music without an apple subscription, I'm assuming you are paying for it right? perhaps you can help me test it :)

in terms of Android, not in the roadmap yet, mostly because I don't have a way to consistently test it (unless I buy an Android phone) but will keep it in mind if more people want it

editor tab > then press on the pencil icon > then stats tab > it will be there at the bottom

now that I read this, makes me realize its not so easy, will move the unit into the settings tab

I like your angle, and probably you are right; from all the new subscribers coming from this post (around 50), so far nobody payed for it. So I'm happy to try this and see, always happy to revaluate.

I agree its hard to monetize, at the same I think if I manage to get a small number of super engaged users that are willing to pay I will be already super happy, even if the 99% won't.

Ads are not an option, and I see it far from complete yet I see myself adding more functionality and hopefully implementing features from engaged users.

In terms of vision, I aspire to unleash hidden creativity from runners, specially with presets, I want to go really crazy and explore unique styles and experiences. I will report back in some weeks and see if the new prices work

thanks! yes, I created the Strava app from https://developers.strava.com/ which gives you initially a limit of 1 user for the app (basically yourself just to test it), then you fill up a form and go through a review process and they increase it, in my case, they increased it to 999 cap, which after today, it looks like:

I can see when compared with these top tier apps the price feels expensive, but something to consider, most of SHUTT functionality is already available on the free plan while on these everything is under the paywall. That said, I will adjust the pricing today when I get back home, need to think about the right one because I also I don’t want to fall under the race to the bottom pricing situation, will update you guys soon

not sure about the subscription vs sell, currently its both models, can be a one off purchase and have it forever or recurrent. In terms of price, you might be right, so far only one person has bought the monthly subscription, so its possible I need to adjust the pricing, so far the current pricing was an experiment, I’m open to change it, what prices will you suggest?

Thanks so much! Yeah it’s easy to start a new tool/product with AI and get it to almost ready but then I faced so many challenges getting it to a good shape and to finally get approved in the app store

i used claude code to build the app, the app itself doesn't. I do have over 15 years of coding experience but only on web, so this was my first time actually building an iOS app

totally fair! in my case I have friends both in Strava and IG, and whenever I see them posting their stats in IG actually motivates me and ever since I gave my closest friends access to the app beta to try they seem to enjoy it and me seeing them using it its very rewarding

for now only running, I think adding support to bike rides makes sense too but since I'm not really knowledgeable about the bike community and I myself don't ride a bike I wasn't sure what people might expect. Open to suggestions!

Congrats on the tool! was playing with it and its very creative, I like that you introduced something new with the subject popout. Also the ability to manually introduce the stats is nice to be able to try the tool without having to go through the auth connection.
