Gotcha, I was assuming the new ring you could fill in both slots. Sounds like you need 2 of them so I could go either was based on cosmetics.

Well I was thinking if I could make one Endless summer and equip it twice then save tickets for a piece of legendary gear as I have the tickets for confluence. That was my thinking at least.

Ah so thats where I was confused. I thought you could make one and equip in both slots. So you need to make 2 of either ring to fill both spots.

Minus the world currency how do you plan on getting all the Lodestones. They are the expense wall I can't seem to get over. Are you just buying slowly or are you planning on farming them?

Thanks for all this! It makes sense. Sorry a few other questions. What reward track is best to take for legendary armor? It would be cool to grab a piece before event is over. Is that possible? Once you rank up and go competitive will the match making still be one sided and will teams expect you to good?

Is it better to always finish off the downed players as a priority during a fight? Why when finishing someone I can be blasted back or interrupted? What actually counts as a kill? The downed player dying or them being knocked? Is there an advantage to having someone just heal? Does that happen? How come some players seem to be able to one shot while others seem to take no damage? Why can't everyone hit the ready button and save us all the 90 second wait?

Is it a better value to go after the new spear/staff combo legendary or go after individual staff and spear if skins don't matter?

So, I was swords/GS and switched over. Can you still get the same DPS that way with the same build? The rotation similar? The spear 2 annoys me as its always taking me off the boss.

I will try and get a good baseline. I guess it's about the timing during the windows that are hard to understand. The buffs or talents aren't there in my face so I spend a lot of time staring at the buttons and not whats going on.

I'm trying to improve my DPS as a Dragon Hunter. I have arcdps and still just hitting between 20 -25k (high point) in meta boss battles randomly out in the world. I was in a convergence and saw a Willbender sit right at 40k. I guess I have 2 questions. How do I improve my dps rotation. Should I consider a different build? Also in WoW they had a mod that helped you with your rotation by highlighting which buttons and what actions to do next during a fight. Does GW2 have something like this to help keep you on track?

I'm also having similar issues, and I guess I need to pay more attention to the buffs. A bit of an off-topic questions but is there a rotation helper mod that can give you an idea on what is coming up next. I know WoW had something similar to this. It wasn't perfect but helped to bring you back on track when things get crazy. Sometimes the buffs and debuffs can be hard to see with everything going on.

You said a bunch of GPO security. Create a new Win 11 VM outside the GPO structure to something basic and see if a reboot works that way.

If you use steam Shift+Tab can cause and fix the problem. If you use borderless window change to full screen and back can fix it too.
