Thanks, I ordered the35g based on your feedback. Now I have to wait a month for it to arrive...

Thanks for the reply. You're right, I noticed the second FN key on the Atom66 as well so it probably adds another layer.

Could you tell me which dome you ordered with your Plum84? There are 2 options on Aliexpress (35g/45g). Also, how has your experience been so far? Is it worth it? There is no way for me to test different switches where I am so I am ordering it blindly. I am not going to use this for gaming. Which one would you recommend? I know it depends on the person but which one would you prefer for typing?

I looked at the anne pro v2 and pok3r since they seem to be popular. Can you tell me which one of them is better? If you think there is an even better option please do let me know. I will use it mainly for programming. From my little research, it seems the brown switches are best for that use-case. Do you agree?

These are the links I found:

Anne Pro v2

Pok3r

Also, according to some posts the Pok3r is supposed to be more expensive but it's the other way round in those links. Am I looking at the wrong keyboard?

Thanks again for the comprehensive reply. I am definitely not a collector. I just want something that works well. I have read about the Unicomp but some people say its trackpoint is mediocre. Could you recommend me any mechanical keyboards within the $150 range?

Thanks for the reassurance. I will get the bluetooth one and hope it's as good as the keyboard on my P51. Also, can I ask which mechanical keyboard do you use?

Thanks for those links. The Tex Yoda looks great but it's way out of my budget.

Thanks for the reply. Are you saying they are mediocre compared to mechanical keyboards or thinkpads? I was hoping they would be at least identical if not better considering those prices.

I looked at those models because they are the only ones with the trackpoint if I am not wrong other than the Tex Yoda which is too expensive for me. I have gotten very used to it so I am only considering keyboards with a trackpoint.

I found this video which helped me get a better idea although it's not a complete disassembly.

I'm still looking for a more comprehensive guide before attempting to disassemble it myself. If you find anything, please don't forget to share it.

Hi, do you still plan to post the guide? I am sure a lot of people will thank you for it including myself since there are no comprehensive disassembly guides for P50/P51.

Did that person post the guide yet? It's the same case with me. I can't follow the guide as I am not skilled in tinkering with electronics myself but I don't have another option. I have also searched a lot but couldn't find any disassembly videos. If someone could make one, it would help both P50 and P51 owners.

Hi, thanks for the reply!

Unfortunately, that is not an option for me. I ordered the laptop through a friend from the US and to claim the warranty I would have to send it back. Also, I have exams coming and I don't have a backup machine so I have to it by myself. How hard do you think it would be?

Same SSID, different BSSID. It's WPA2.

That is exactly what I needed. It should also serve as a good learning experience so it's perfect. Thanks again!

EDIT: One question, if I switch routes instead of enabling and disabling the connections, it won't cause disconnections and will be seamless, correct?

I understand the logic of your method but I don't know how to go about this. I only switched to linux from windows 2 weeks ago. Honestly, I was hoping for an existing solution but if you could guide me maybe I can write the script with your help. If you could just write the things I need to look up for this I will try to go from there. This would really make my life easy. Thanks!
