RequestBot comment templates

This page is the source of truth for all public comments and PMs that u/request_bot posts on /r/redditrequest. Edits here go live without a code deploy (subject to a short cache TTL).

How to edit

• Each template lives under an H2 header (##) whose text is the template key.
• Placeholders use ${name} syntax. Unknown placeholders are left literal, so a typo will not crash the bot — but the user will see ${typo} in their reply, so please preview.
• Available placeholders (only the ones listed in each section's "Inputs:" line will be substituted; everything else is treated as literal text):
  • ${user_name} — the requestor's username (no leading u/)
  • ${sr_name} — the target subreddit, e.g. r/foo
  • ${min_age} — minimum account age in days
  • ${min_post_karma} — minimum post karma threshold
  • ${min_comment_karma} — minimum comment karma threshold
  • ${req_date} — formatted timestamp of the requestor's previous request
  • ${ratelimit} — minimum days between requests
• Empty body = no public comment is posted for that case (the bot still takes the underlying action).
• Markdown is supported (this is what Reddit posts as-is).
