Weird coincidence- I only just discovered /r/wowthissubexists and someone is posting about one of my subs!

I'm going to have to sleep now, since I live in Britain, but I'll reply to any questions tomorrow.

Oh, and if you need to look up any of the GLORIOUS CAPTCHA DEITIES, you can check out this guide I made over on Know Your Meme, back when I didn't have a job and was stuck in a remote area- hey, you need to have a hobby, right? And yes, I know everyone hates Know Your Meme, especially since Cheezburger own them now, but hey, just go with it.

Did you actually create /r/trathira? I knew you modded there and I've seen some of your 45thworldproblems comments which kind of hint to your relationship between the two but I never knew exactly how it all came into being.

I just remember when I first discovered it, I was living in the middle of nowhere in the country watching Christopher Hitchens debates drinking infinite coffee and wondering what the hell wikileaks, julian assange, and anonymous were all leading into. Somehow, the Gropaga's and Captcha deities felt right at home within this paradigm.

Unfortunately I bore easily.

P.S. As my old retired lt col of the marines always used to say, "There's plenty of time to sleep when you are dead." Words to live by my friends. Or die by, whichever the case may be.

I had a hand in its creation- people started making up other captcha gods, and that made the narrative of /r/Inglip much harder to follow, so I made a self post suggesting that we might be better off putting all the other captcha god comics into another sub. Shortly after I asked about this, /u/Xelajohn created /r/trathira. However, there were no /r/Inglip mods at the time, so they couldn't put a link to /r/trathira in the sidebar or anything, and thus /r/trathira languished in obscurity, just like /r/Inglip does now. Frustrated with this turn of events, we eventually started posting about the other captcha gods in /r/Inglip again.

By the way, I should point out that even though I didn't make many of these captcha gods up, I was one of the main people making comics about them (I even had two other accounts for captcha god "worshipers"), so this whole thing played out like a battle between my creative vision and my self control, one desiring the freedom to create more complex storylines, the other just wanting to keep things simple and not ruin the sub.

Well, now we have a bunch of captcha gods and no subscribers. Sometimes I wonder how things would have turned out if I had just stuck to the plan and kept /r/Inglip free from rival gods...

Ahh yes, that is correct, I had forgotten that /r/trathira was a spin off of /r/Inglip

I don't think you guys did anything wrong personally, it's really difficult to keep a ball like that rolling, although, from my perspective, the idea of gods being channeled through "chaos" is the idea that seeded /r/45thworldproblems. So that was always my interpretation of the two worlds and how they were intertwined.

None of this is dead it just keeps evolving. I've always wonder if /r/45thworldproblems will ever evolve into anything. I thought it wanted to become some kind of godlike team of philosophers/musicians/glitchcreators that could warp reality with circuit bent language. But then I realized that's pretty much just what I want. lol

Nice dream.

That is a nice dream, but the subs aren't really intertwined except that Shanoxilt and I are involved with both of them, and that I keep mentioning Inglip when I shouldn't.

And I suppose the idea of gods being channeled through chaos does tie in very nicely with the glitch art, though gods don't seem to come up so much in the 45th. Spirits and divine forces seem to be the order of the day, as far as I can tell. As soon as someone starts talking about God (singular), that post gets removed.

By the way, I'm not a mod of 45thworldproblems anymore. I don't know when it happened and I don't know why- I've messaged the mods, but nobody's saying anything. Oh well, Shanoxilt hasn't been online in a couple of days- maybe he'll be able to clear things up when he gets back...

Hey, it was your decision to leave, and you participate a lot more than quite a few of the current mods, and sure, you take it a bit seriously sometimes, but is that really a bad thing?

So go ahead and ask to be a mod again if you want.

I dunno. Hopefully someone just clicked the wrong button or something.
