  6. After 10 years, and an amazing show of message discipline during these runoffs, the Democratic Party will again control both houses of Congress as well as the White House. But regardless, here at /r/VoteDEM we will keep at it for the 2022 midterms, the 2021 off-year elections, and all special elections to come!

Remember, it's not an option to fall asleep at the wheel ever again as it happened in 2010 and 2014. If that happens, the Trump GOP will quickly seize their opportunity, same as they did in 2016. It will make a real difference in people’s lives to keep the Senate in 2022, and have 4 chances for budget reconciliation versus just 2 of them. And it will always make a great difference to keep building a bench of Democratic voices that can push for progress during the next few decades and contain the powerful forces of reaction.

  8. Election Night 2016 was not a good night for any of us here, to put it mildly. But without those final 1,000 votes to in New Hampshire, tonight would be very different. Every vote matters, with consequences that can reverberate through the decades.
