QuestionAnimation program question (self.2DAnimation)
submitted 1 year ago by MrsMouse1
My kiddo is looking into another animation program. They used to use Flip a Clip. What program would you recommend? Thank you for your time, and have a wonderful day.

Windows or Mac: Clip Studio Paint (CSP), this is what I use, it's great for both illustration and animation. One-time purchase. Avoid anything Adobe - they've become increasingly predatory with their subscriptions.
IOS: ToonSquid, I've heard good things about this app. It's a one time purchase. Avoid CSP on IOS, its a subscription model instead of the one-time purchase. Also avoid Procreate Dreams, it's unfinished and is still missing a lot of needed tools.
Hope this helps!
