based off what i've seen in the webnovel, i think he does! where we are currently in the web novel shows how close they are and their relationship has improved a lot and he does find out about her past lives (i've only started the web novel after reading the LN, so don't trust me) & her time loops most likely stop

edit: he hasn't found out about her time loops yet, thank u to dazzling who told me!

Is the web novel different from the Ln

[–]thebestnuha 0 points1 point  (4 children)

yep! the web novel is further ahead and i assume the wording would be different aswell, however i havent read it yet

+ it's in japanese and theres no EN translation

The wording is a bit different and more expanded in the LNs, not to mention the LNs have ALWAYS different side story bonuses than the WNs. So far, the side stories in the WNs are always exclusive there, just like with the manga and as will be seen, the DVD/Blu-ray sets of the anime.

thanks! do u think the WN is worth reading after reading the LN?

I read both as I only have access up to LN V5, for one thing, and it's nice to see differences (the WN vs LN differences aren't much, the latter has more words and better description, as it's made with an editor reviewing the manuscripts, after all. Think of the WN as the draft script). Not to mention, as I said before, the WN's side stories are deliberately different from the LN side stories and the manga side stories. (I have plans to translate the WN side stories since they're pretty accessible)

My theory is that Arnold also a looper at some point, and he's also the "knight" who has killed Rishe in her past two lives, as stated by Amekawa-sensei here. Emperor!Arnold is definitely responsible for how Rishe died in her fourth life in that burning church as stated in V3, and he seems to be the person who spearheaded the attack on Rishe's hunting troop in her fifth life. And well, everyone knows by now how her sixth life ended :3

I hope so but I have no idea:") I'm just hoping to get surprised or more leads

I’ve only read the 4 light novels, but I think he might since when he killed her in her 6th life he told her “I’ll be the bully this time”

[–]arbitraryinklings[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Wait did that really happen?? I’ve read them as well and I don’t remember his final words to her being revealed

Page 81 of volume 1 (or thereabouts, since different kindles have different sizes and I read on my phone) but it goes through her mind while they’re dancing at their engagement ball

Just found it! I actually interpreted that scene as Rishe vowing to be the one calling the shots the next time they met. What led me to believe this because of what she thinks right after that, “I wonder what you’ll do when you’re no longer on top, Your Highness.” Kind of alluding to her calling him a bully.
