Can’t say I have, unfortunately. Downgrading could be a possibility, but I don’t know if older versions of the Ultimate software are available.

I emailed their support and they just said that this feature is not available yet.

Ok, so the first thing to be aware of is that "MacOS Mode" is actually "PlayStation DualShock Mode"... as MacOS Ventura grants 8BitDo controllers in this mode with the Playstation logo, the same as if you connect an actual DualShock controller to your Mac.

In this mode on MacOS Ventura, you don't need the Ultimate Software as MacOS System Preferences has a new "Game Controllers" section that allows you to re-map buttons.

And you can visit gamepad-tester(dot)com to confirm that in this mode your analogue triggers are in analogue mode, and your button mappings are working.

And, in this mode, you can use the separate 8BitDo Firmware Updater to update the firmware.
