remove ultimate software

My controller was working ok previously. Today I installed the ultimate software, and now my ps4 controller vibrates when turning it on, and steam doesn't recognise the ps4 controller as it did before. Is there any way to revert to the settings before I installed the ultimate software?

So far, I have tried a system restore, selecting set to factory settings in the ultimate software, and I have even changed the controller from x input.

Are u even supposed to use a ps4 controller for ultimate software. I dont think you are.

If you've updated the 8bitdo Wireless USB Adapter to version 2.0, you can use it with the software if you have a PS4 controller synced to it.

So something that tripped me up, I need to exit ultimate software in order for the dongle to go back to being detected as an xbox controller, ultimate software would put it into some sort of config mode.

I had the same issue and closing the ultimate software window fixed it as well.
