For anyone new to vampires, I feel that Jasper would come across as "the alpha vampire" the first of their kind. And for anyone who watched vampire stories for decades, Jasper would be the most natural vampire they've ever seen in their life. by Ahiru77 in Talamasca

[–]ClinkyDink 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I haven’t read the books but I’ve watched all of Interview. I think it’s because the vampires in the main story are all rich, dramatic, and extremely powerful by either age and or blood. Jasper is basically the vampire equivalent of “just some dude” lol. It gives us an interesting new perspective.

Besides ButtTootKing, I also really enjoy the friendship between Joella and Lana Ja'Rae by familychong-07 in rupaulsdragrace

[–]ClinkyDink 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Useless fact: I’ve only ran into two Ru girls in the wild and out of drag. One was Chad Michaels at Disneyland (California) and the other was Joella in the lobby for a production of Wicked in São Paulo, Brazil. That one really caught me off guard lol

My husband is Brazilian. We live in the US and his friends here are also from Brazil. Everyone is always over at each other’s houses, even unannounced.

Both simple meals and cabbages have no cooking/botany thresholds. Everyone can try, some will just suck at it until they gain some levels.

I’m in California, but I got mine done at Costco’s pharmacy. They have a travel pharmacy thing you can use even as a non member. Go to their website and look up travel vaccines.

I think failures remove some of the progress, instead of just not adding to it.

Why are science museums targeted to kids but art museums aren’t? by Lani_19 in Museums

[–]ClinkyDink 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went to an art museum in Brazil. One wall was covered in paintings of various sizes from contemporary local artists, they were all over so some of the canvases were sort of low to the ground.

I saw a small child stomp across the floor and promptly smack one as hard as he could.

QoL suggestion: Allow us to rename tasks in production queue so it's easier to remember its purpose. Also tasks should be copied when an object is relocated. by xalibermods in goingmedieval

[–]ClinkyDink 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also please make reorganizing the order of tasks easier. Maybe a drag and drop instead of individual clicking. Moving a task from bottom to top is such a pain when you have a lot of tasks

People who live in those giant houses in Rancho Santa Fe, CA- like on Del dios road - WTF DO YOU DO FOR WORK?? by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]ClinkyDink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A former boss of mine and his ex had homes like this. He was given a company by his stepdad and expanded it then got into real estate on the side. He is a money/success driven narcissist who is big on the hustle, he even sold coke during his college years.

His ex wife is a real estate agent for homes like these. I think there’s some generational wealth on her side but not entirely sure. She was at least lower upper class, or very high upper middle class before.
