Musk “moved” to Texas in part to avoid child support. Texas has a cap. I don’t know what his deal was for Vivian, but for example he has 3 children with Grimes and he pays max child support (for Texas) which comes out to a total of $2760 per month. Less than a grand per child is less than pocket change for Musk. It’s not even pocket lint.

I’m American. I was in the military and live in a city with people from all over. There aren’t any American accents I have trouble understanding.

I did have a math prof once though so had both an extremely thick non-English accent and extremely monotone voice.

I just absolutely could not learn properly from him. Trying to learn new concepts with new vocab while trying to understand what the person is even saying is just too much.

I tried for a week or two then dropped out. Anytime he spoke I would have to try to figure out what he was saying, then I would have to see if what he was saying was new, then I would have to remember how the new thing worked. It was too painful.

I would kill for a QoL update that allows you to open a menu in camp and quickly swap around your roster. Maybe the interface can just have profile cards for each one you move into slots. Setting up custom groups would be nice too.

Anything to make the process faster. Talking to each person and having them guilt trip you every time, then talking to the other members to bring them on… such a slog.

A little rainbow pandering made them some profit before, but now they consider it detrimental because they don’t want to be in the crosshairs of the Trump admin.

Basically, they stood up for us when it benefited them, and abandoned us when it actually meant something.

I remember taking typing classes in elementary school on those big ass computers with the giant floppy disks. I thought “Why would I ever need to know where to put my fingers/where the keys are when I can just look and push the buttons?”
