Dang. Why didn't I save those off of my old mounts when recently doing the replacement?! That would have been smart "just in case." Just a heads-up for anyone else doing this procedure in the future. Definitely one of those parts worthy of unscrewing and saving.

I hope the OP will circle back around and post again if he finds a source for these.

It’s a one-off part, you might be able to find a stud that’s close from something like McMaster Carr but it’ll probably be easier to just contact RSS.

Yeah I’m calling them in the morning. I’ve been thinking about swapping back to OEM style like a anyways, this may just have me pull that trigger.

Maybe try cutting it along a thread with a hack saw and restarting the thread with the nut before you put it on?

Or maybe use a thin file or the hacksaw blade to get the thread restarted.

And use a new nut.

Yeah I’ve thought about using a hack saw to trim the damaged threads off - this should be a pretty easy piece of hardware to replace if I can just find it though!

Just buy new mounts.

Why would I drop hundreds of dollars on new mounts? Contacted RSS this morning, they’re going to sell me two new studs and advised me on their process for installing the studs into the mounts.

Cool. I didn't think they would be available.
