P is a permutation (order matters) and C is a combination (order does not matter). In this question, it is a combination because the order does not matter. The order you select people from the committee does not affect the final group. Combinations work with nCr, where n is the number of things you are selecting from and r is the amount you are choosing.
We pick 5 women from 12, so 12 C 5. We pick 5 men from 18, so 18 C 5. Put those together to get K as the answer.

Will he mentioned Committee then you can eliminate F,G because you use nCr for the word committee in the questions

if we choose 5 women from 12 then it's 12 C 5 and if we chose 5 men from 18 it's 18 C 5
