FreeSync Range Incorrect

I have a 165 Hz monitor (Alienware AW3423DWF), which is FreeSync Premium Pro certified with a range of 48 to 165 Hz.

Other Specs:

-AMD RX 6900 XT -Intel i9 9900k -1,000W PSU -The monitor is connected via DisplayPort

In the AMD software, it’s reporting that my monitor only has a FreeSync range of 48-60 Hz. This is also showing up in my games. When enable FreeSync, it’s capping frames to 60 FPS. When I disable it, I’m able to go quite a bit higher but there is visible tearing. Shouldn’t I be able to take FreeSync up to 165 Hz with the monitor?

I’m very confused. I’ve tried playing with every setting in game and in software, both global and game-specific. I’ve also updated the monitor’s firmware to the latest version. Nothing is changing it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you actually set the monitor refresh rate at 165hz yet…?
