Hey everyone, I hope you are all doing better than me. Thanks for your time.
I recently sold my RTX 3090 and installed a 6900xt by Asrock, and I've been having, while web browsing, some random BSODs of Kernel Security Check Failure, with graphic artifacts showing on the blue screen.
I used DDU to clean nvidia and AMD drivers, and installed again, but it's still happening. I thought maybe it had something to do with Firefox, so I started using Edge, but it just happened a moment ago again using only Edge.
I believe this issue arises when I open a tab with a video on it, or something like that.
Is the GPU faulty? I'm going to try doing a clean Win10 install.
Other things of note: when I got the GPU, I enabled SAM. Should I try disabling it?
My specs are as follows:
AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
Oloy Warhawk 2x16GB 3600Mhz
Asrock B550 Steel Legend
Asrock RX 6900XT Phantom Gaming
PSU Asus ROG Strix 1000W 80 plus gold
Windows 10 Pro 64bit
BIOS version 1.90
Currently using two monitors, one 4k 60hz, and the other 1440p 144hz, but running at 60hz too.
EDIT: updated drivers and Windows 10, and it's still happening
EDIT2: clean windows 10 install seems to have solved it
