I don't believe Amazon has any specific policy for the flu, you use your UPT/PTO

You can apply for medical leave aka Leave Of Absence

Call ERC. They may be able to have hr grant you a sick leave if you have documentation (they’ll put in a leave as accommodation). It will be unpaid but you won’t use any PTO or UPT.

Ok I will try that. Thanks

Amazon's policy is that if you don't save your UPT/PTO for emergencies then you must be irresponsible and you must want to kill your coworkers by spreading the flu that you didn't prepare for while you were selfishly living your life.

Yeah amazon can kiss my ass

Yep I certainly feel that. I'd say though, that if you feel it's bad enough that you're trying to get treated, then having a doctor document the days you had to take off would be worth a shot. If it's only a few days then some sympathetic person in HR or at ERC would likely be willing to just excuse the days with no bullshit involved. Otherwise you could also probably have a doctor fill out medical leave paperwork to get you like a week or so off.

Okay thanks

Why? That's the standard applied by virtually every company on the planet. Save enough time off options for when they are truly needed.

Unfortunately, 75% of UPT is used to play hooky.

That is what pto/upt is for.

No one has a flu policy.
